The city of Liberty, Missouri is a suburban city located in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. As of the 2020 census, its population was 30,167. Liberty is home to William Jewell College. Visitors may enjoy the Art Walk, play Disc golf, or visit the Jesse James Bank Museum.

Art Walk

The Art Walk in Liberty, Missouri features works by local artists in different mediums. There is a sculpture competition where nine artists will have their work exhibited downtown. The winning artists will receive a $2000 honorarium for their work. The juried selection panel will review all the submissions. Once selected, the artists will be interviewed via phone and may be asked to complete a contract with the City of Liberty.

The Liberty Station ArtWalk also includes a beer garden. This is an event that will allow patrons to purchase beer and wine, although it is not required. Visitors should wear wristbands to enjoy the beer garden. Unlike some art festivals, the Liberty Station ArtWalk is a smaller event where artists can interact with local art lovers.
